Hi there! My name is Humera. I have a background in secondary science education, and made the transition  into Digital Learning Design which has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I am currently working as a Digital Learning Designer for Aurora.

 

Throughout my years of teaching, I have seen the growing need for the use of technology inside and outside the classroom, especially when the COVID pandemic hot and learning and teaching were, for the first time, moved online. I became a Moodle expert! I have since completed a Professional Certificate in Instructional Design with the Digital Learning Institute. I am a little obsessed  with Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond and I hope to continue learning more.

I believe learning should be an experience that inspires change in the workplace, resulting in improved performance, not just increased knowledge. I collaborate with clients to deliver courses that are memorable and engaging, and I  pride myself on my ability to give and receive feedback and communicate my ideas to a variety of stakeholders.

When I am offline I am a busy mum of two little girls, and enjoy showing them this wonderful planet!
